My 4yr niece was supposed to have surgery to extract the two front teeth. How ever her mom was pressured by her grandparents who are old school said that this type of surgery on a 4yr old was not necessary & dangerous because of the anesthesia & deaths that they have read of children dying & because her teeth will fall out soon. The grandparents didn't know that the surgery would be done at a hospital not the office.So the appt for the surgery was cancelled the day before & a secretary said that they will no longer see the child again. Grandparents were convinced that the surgery needed to be done or the child cannot go to school. So I will call to attempt to make an appt for my little niece & hope they can get her in. It's stupid to have to drive to Ceveland or Sandusky for this. How can a business refuse to reschedule an appt just because of a cancellation & misinformation with the grandparents.
