Giving 2 stars only because technician (Allen B) was great, otherwise would have been a 1 (at best). I received a call on my way out of town that one of my motion detector batteries needed replacing. Called on Sunday when I returned home after a long weekend of traveling and was on hold for 55 minutes with a loudly beeping alarm going off the whole time. SafeTouch was unable to schedule a technician until Wednesday, no way to suspend/turn off system in the interim. Asked what the battery life is on a motion detector battery since smoke detector batteries last about 5 years. Person on phone confirmed motion detector should be the same. Interesting, since I was a NEW customer only a year ago! So SafeTouch took an already installed system, activated it after getting my credit card information and never bothered to change out my batteries! Seems like that should be part of the new customer checklist???? The motion detector battery had actually corroded, which would have been completely avoided had they bothered to get me up and running with refreshed equipment. Underwhelmed by my entire customer service experience (again, with the exception of the technician, who was a real pro)!
