It has been 18 months since we last had our carpets cleaned. Colonial Chem-Dry performed that cleaning of several areas of wall-to-wall carpet and also picked up two large oriental rugs, took them for cleaning, and later returned them to us looking newer and fresher than when we last saw them.
So it was natural to invite Colonial back this summer to clean just the carpets after the 18 month interval which had seen many abuses of the carpet by the humans who live here and others who visit, along with a multitude of different dog and cat visitors to our home (yes, various pee and poop accidents which we always attempt to 'spot-clean'). On occasional warm, damp days during the summer there were hints of 'old urine in the air' that reminded us of long-ago visits from our furry friends. In addition to the usual routine carpet cleaning we also requested the P. U. R. T. treatment especially for pet urine. The cleaning was impressively thorough and, writing this today (warm and humid) I am extremely pleased to report there is no longer any hint of either pets or urine in our house.
We are extremely pleased with the results. It was a pleasure to have this work done, from start to finish. Thanks.
