Review content:
I went to LDI seeking a solution to my stretch marks. I heard about them through the radio like everyone else in LA since they practically advertise on every radio station in town. During high school, I had gone through a growth spurge in which I grew so quickly not only in height but also in width....LOL. I ended up with stretch marks on my butt and the side of my thighs. The consultation was handled by a tall good looking middle age man who had just had IPL treatment on his face. As I was talking to him, I showed him my problem areas. He said since my skin was of olive tone and I was young, my skin would handle the procedure quite well. He said it should be pretty easy to get rid of the stretch marks. I was sold. Damn, what a bad decision!~ $4000 down the drain plus topical creams ($60/each). Because of my inexperience with this type of places, I never thought of asking whether the procedure was going to be done by the Dr or not. Each visit, the Dr would come in to the procedure room, examine me for 1 min and then gave instructions to the nurse in charge on which level of laser to use on me. Yes, the procedure was virtually painless so it was easy to handle but the entire procedure was done by the nurse and not the doctor himself. I hate the fact that alot of laser places are now handled by nurses instead of the doctors themselves. After completing 10 treatments, my skin was overall smoother but the lines were still there. I pointed this fact to the nurse and she said they will go away in time as long as I continue using their prescription creams. Let me remind you that these bottles are quite expensive and they only last for about 3 to 4 weeks. For the next 6 months I kept buying their creams and applied it religiously. Still the stretch marks didn't go away. Well, it has been 3 years since my last laser treatment and yes you guessed it, it is still there. They are right on my butt and nothing has changed. Don't waste your money or your time in this place.
Pros: Painless procedure, parking is easy, close to work
Cons: expensive, treatments performed by nurses not the Dr, and no results
