Worst experience ever....Girls in the front office not friendly at all...all they care is about the money 5 min consultation no wonder its free and no wonder they are advertising it on the radio because they need the most people they can get...word of mouth is not doing it for them....they talk about money before you even see the doctor...receptionist need to greet the patient. more

OMG I totally agree with you, I feel like such a fool!!! I was actually thinking of booking the treatments they said I would need!!! I was told I would need treatments that went for $3000 each but I was gonna be given a discount and he would do 2 treatments for $5000 the so called doctor didn't even get off his chair to take a look at my face and even with him being so rude and ignorant I was still thinking of booking them, just for the simple fact of having the skin that I have so longed for, it really is a shame to think money and greed is the only intrest in this place!! It really angers me to think there could be such selfish people! My mother went in as well the same day that I did and when we meet up again in the waithing room, we shared the same story, she was told she would need several treatments for a total of $15,000 but he would be nice and do it for $12,000 because they were having a SPECIAL when she told them that was still to much they said they would do 3 treatments for $5000!!! This place is a rip off!!! The only reason they got a star for a rating is because I would not be able to post my review with out it!! more

I have never left feedback online for anything before, but after attending a consultation here this afternoon, I felt I had to sign up for this site to warn other people about this terrible terrible place. I have a small scar on my forehead from an accident a few months ago that I was looking to get improvement on. When I first arrived I filled in some paper work and was taken into a 'consulation room' where the doctor came in and was accompanied by a man in a suit. He took one look at my small scar (about 2cm in length) and said I should expect to see about a 50% improvement from the laser treatment and then went outside to discuss how much it would cost. The Dr was in the room for about 20 seconds. The man in the suit then came back in, and said it would take 3 laser treatments that would cost me $5,000. I was totally gobsmacked. I then asked which lasers he planned to use and how far apart the 3 treatments would be, and he said he wouldn't tell me until I paid the money. I then pressed him a little harder, saying I wasn't comfortable paying the money until he told me exactly what I was paying for! He then muttered something about probably using a yag laser. I then mentioned how I had been quoted $80 for a single yag treatment at a plastic surgeon's and that $5k seemed a little steep. I was then told in a stern voice to either pay or leave - so I promptly left! It angers me so much that people like this are out there conning people and are obviously solely driven by money, with little or no interest in actually helping a patient. If you're reading this you'll probably notice that a lot of the reviews on here are positive and seem to give the institute 5 stars. Take a moment to click on each of the profiles that have recommended this place, and you'll see that each reviewer has only ever left feedback on Dr Rispler and his various institutes and is clearly a fake profile that has been created either by the Doctor or his staff. There's not a single genuine reviewer on here that has ever left feedback for any other product/service! The people who run this place and put fake reviews online to try and trick vulnerable people into paying extortionate amounts of cash are dispicable and should be utterly utterly ashamed of themselves. I only hope by posting this review that others may read my honest experience of this place, and avoid ever having to set foot in there. more

Excellent services provided. Top notch quality care. My experience has been five stars. I have no more acne scars, it only took 4 laser treatments. I had acne scars for 12 years on my face, and it took 3 months for everything to go away. Wonderful experience with Dr. Rispler as well. A true guru of skin. I am West Indian, so usually we have really nice skin. However, I am one of the few that have too much sweat glands, therefore I am always sweating from my face, and also, my pores are enlarged because of it. In the recent years, I found that due to hormonal activity, the pores would get trapped by sebum, and therefore, I would get severe acne patches. LaserHQ, I heard on the radio, and they said no matter what skin condition, and to come in for a free consulation. So of course I tried them out. Well, its been 4 and a half months, and its impossible that was me just a couple of months ago. I have no more excessive sweating. My pores are not even there anymore. First Class, Laser Dermatologist Facility. I've been to Laser Center's around the world, and none of them could get to the root source, as Dr. Rispler was quick to identify. He knew immediatley I have a rare skin condition. My brown spots keep growing on my face and they never stopped. It looks like I have a mask on my face. However, the previous laser facilities I've been too, seem to be quick fixes and painful. The major difference between LDI I noticed, was the treatment procedure, the way in which it was conducted, and the aggressive treatment approach Dr. Rispler was not afraid to use. He does have state of the art lasers, I was surprised because I searched for this particular laser, and tracked it down here next to my actual city. I have been flying all over the world to get treatments, and if I just looked here, I would've found it earlier. I have completed all of my treatments except for one. And my face has never looked so clean. It is a milky white, no brown spots, no masks. Dr. Rispler said I won't need another laser treatment for 10 years after this. I am ecstatic, and want everyone to know the kind of service I have received. Excellent service, excellent dermatologist, great value. more

After my divorce settlement, I was bed ridden for quite a few months. I decided to go on jenny Craig, and get a face lift. I discovered lasers are pretty painless, and less cost than an actual face lift. So I tried LDI, because they were all over the freeway on my way to work. I just can't believe what a new person I looked like. I look atleast 15 years younger. It took 3 treatments, and I met my ex last week, and he was shocked. I told him that it was because we divorced that I felt rejuvanated. I think that did it. Pros: gets back at exes! Cons: Pricey, but worth every penny more

okay, I just left other reviews, I know I went to irvine location, and covina location once... I didn't know they had other locations lol! anyway here is my personal review of LDI My mom forced me to Dr. Rispler's office, and I was terrified. I thought for sure, it would not help at all. I tried all the infomercial products, when all the teens looks so beautiful within a week after trying the product. Well, nothing was good for me. In fact, in just kept getting worse. I was really mortified for a while, feeling really really hopeless. I just want to say, that not only did Dr. Rispler help identify my bad habits, that exacerbate my acne, but he even lasered off my acne scars. It took 30 days, and that is no time, compared to the products I bought that never worked. I think this will be one of the most memorable things, my mom has ever done for me. And mom if you are reading this, it would be great to have a set of wheels too! LOL but I won't push it. So mom, thank you, I love you! And thank you Dr. Rispler, and all of LDI staff! more

Da Bomb! Nurses rocked, Doctor Risp rocked, all his staff was da bomb! Growing up with severe cystic acne was the worst thing that ever happened to me. I even went to church for prayer, but the prayer request guy took one look at me, and told me he wasn't going to pray for me! Why? He said it was a punishment! In your face! I went to LaserHQ, and my face is so smooth, people have been giving me compliments all over the place! I believe in miracles now, but you have to be proactive about it! LaserHQ ROCKS! more

I SWEAR BY LDI! As prudent as I am, I had to go to the laser center that had only fda approved lasers. After watching many youtube videos, and before and afters, the fda lasers are the only real ones that work. I chose Dr. Rispler LDI, and I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW MUCH MY SKIN LOOKS SOOOOO REFRESHED! Like I dropped 15 years! I look like I am 22! I can't believe it. Every time I see myself in the mirror, I smile now! Before, I used to look away, and pretend like every day it was okay. Okay, so first my auntie is the one who bought me a package for my congratulatory college gift. I must admit, I was very embarrassed at first, and shocked. Long story short, a guy just doesn't walk in a laser dermatologist, unless he is forced to go. I guess. I went a series of 6 times. Each time getting better than the next. My scars are completley gone, it's amazing. The pock marks are completely gone. The funny thing is, in the card written from my aunt, it obtrusivley said "Greg, time to get your first girlfriend." Well, now I HAVE MY FIRST LOVE!!!!!! So it isn't so obtrusive anymore! LOL! My dad said #$%# we shoulda taken you sooner! I seriously wish so! I am completely free of acne and acne scars! Hi everyone! My name is K.Knight. I have been reading the reviews for Dr. Rispler, and I cannot even imagine the patients who rate him without trying any of his treatments! I noticed that people who write the good reviews are actually real patients who underwent treatment at his facility. I was disturbed when people complained about price. This is a major medical procedure. Of course it is not going to cost the same as a facial at a spa! I never thought it would when I first went in, so I actually thought it was very very fair. I signed up with my mom, I guess we have the same genes. We agree 100% with the positive reviews. Who can deny Dr. Rispler's talent? No wonder why he is well known! My mom looks so young, it's ridiculous. She gloats about it to all her 5 sisters! I had severe scars, and the Dr. even got rid of my freckles. He even got rid of my brow burns (long story, someone lit my face on fire)! Not funny at all. Anyhoo, I am really disturbed at the bad reviews, I mean... don't you actually have to be a real patient to write a review! Shame on those people hot tempered because they couldn't afford it! This is the other location I had an appointment! I like the Irvine one better, but this one was amazing to have anyway, just as good as the irvine one too. I had another appointment set for irvine, but I had to change my schedule because of work, and ended up in Covina, they just switched me to that location, and i was literally there for only 15 minutes and out! :D two thumbs up at this location too! more

I still remember when I arrived for the first time at LDI. I was very nervous and excited at the same time. I remember my mom's voice in my head saying" true test is to see the staff, and their skin." I looked carefully at each staff member, and was extremely surprised at Dr. Rispler when he came in the door. I think he is almost 70? He doesn't look a day over 47. I couldn't believe it. It has been 4 months now. I am completely done with all my treatments. I am so happy about my results. I never would've imagined that I would get such dramatic results. I am surprised more.. that people don't know much about this co2 laser. It really took 12 years off my face, and it just keeps getting better day by day. I am truley blessed, and thank my self all the time, for getting it done right the first time around. The way it should be. I urge you, if you are considering doing laser treatments. go to the people that have the best most advanced lasers and go to one where there is an actual doctor to complete the diagnoses. I too have been here for treatments. Excellent treatments and customer service. I paid only $3,000 for my entire package so I don't know what people are talking about. Maybe they just had really really super bad skin. I am totally clear of my zits and I will be going back for some more laser treatments. I checked out their skin resurfacing lasers online and decided that the lasers they have are less painful and looks like it achieves much better results so I will going back for those to clear some scarring. I did 3 laser treatments and some topical ointments. I got clear literally in 2 weeks. Lucky for me I got it fast before I got too many scars. I found out that Asian skin scars really bad, but the good news is that Dr. Rispler told me that Asian people are less likely to get skin cancer. I feel great and my skin has never looked better. I chose LDI because no one else had all the advanced medicine and lasers. I needed real professional help from a dermatologist. Also, the price is right. The other consultations I went to did the same thing. Most places talked to me about pricing upfront to see if it was something I could afford because you have to fork the bill. My parents have great insurance and even they said that zits aren't covered by them...in their words "acne is not a deadly disease." Ummm...yeah, then why does it make you so sad and depressed. Don't get me started on that. I also went to other dermatology offices that don't tell you how much anything costs and tell you that it will be an ongoing process which means a ton of doctor visits. Who's got time for that? DO THE MATH. Well, I rather know how much this whole thing is gonna cost and that the Doctor visits are all included. Plus those simple type of dermatologists didn't have any lasers. Lasers are good and I got quick results. I have read online that other meds take up to a year to work. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! The will make unreasonable promises that will NEVER EVER come true. I am a real LDI customer who spent thousands of dollars on there treatments...here's my story. I signed up for four laser treatments in 2008 at a whoping 8K which according to them is a deal...when I tried to cancel they said I had signed a contract and owed them $1500 for a lousy 30 second treatment that they have you do intially so that in case you do decide to back out they can charge you for it plus another $1500 administration fee. It got to the point where there Beverly Hills lawyer got involved and forced me to either go thru with the treatments or pay them 3K. In protest, I went thru with all treatments which were extremely painful and cost me several days of work after every treatment because you look like s BURN VICTIM(seriously). It would take forever to heal and now after over a year my skin is back to what is was...with very little to no improvements(oily skin, breakouts, pimples, etc.) Save your money and consult with your doctor who will recommend you to a a dermatologist..it will save you money and the results will be better because your given alternatives instead of LASERS that rip your skin off and do not heal anything except for minor scars. If you have acne the four treatments WILL NOT help you...believe me and everyone on this site. This place will treat you like the cats meow when you first arrive...after they scam you of your money, your nothing but a pain in there BEHIND and they can't wait to kick you out the door.......BUT NOT before you spend more money on there medicines, lotions, creams, sun blocks and hair gels which may I remind you are NOT INCLUDED in the expensive contract......OF COURSE!!! You are a FOOL if you subscribe to there theory that lasers will be the solution to all your problems...I call BS!!!! I have to agree with all the 5 star and positive reviews. LDI offers an amazing service. I too have been a victim of the dreadful acne and remnants of the scars caused by it. After 5 laser treatments, I am almost 100% clean and clear. Acne was a constant battle for me. I have no regrets coming to LDI and I do not agree that it is an expensive service. It is priced within reach and the benefits are worth a tremendous amount more. LDI has a great staff that is attentive and professional. Doctor Rispler truly pays attention to your treatment regimen and customizes to the tee based on what seems to be a plethora of experience. LDI is a paradigm of the true medical laser clinic. It is not a mom and pop shop that buys a laser and says it works. You would be putting yourself in great hands at LDI. I can stand by that statement 100% and would refer all my friends and family to the best treatments for acne and acne scars in the world. Not to sound all positive and such, I too have a complaint in regards to the hours of operation of this office. They do not open on the weekend. It is kind of annoying because I work all week and the only time I really have is the weekends. It's like going to Chick Filet and they are closed on Sundays. I hope LDI you read this and decide to open on Saturdays at least. I am sure a lot of people would love to be able to come in on the weekends and you can definitely increase your traffic, not that you need it. Just a suggestion. Nonetheless, I greatly appreciate that Doctor Rispler is always on top of the whole dermatology world. I would not want to trust my skin to anybody else. If you are reading these reviews, then you are like me. I wanted to make sure that this company was good before I went in for their free consultation. LET ME SAVE YOU THE TIME AND MONEY. At their consultation, I didn't like their pricing and thought that they were ripping me off. Let me tell you what is really a rip off; getting services that don't work. I was like you shopping around and I bought services from 2 different places: one place claimed to be a dermatologist and another was a MEDSPA. I wasted a ton of money on those places to find that there is a major difference between laser treatments and lasers. The real waste of time and money was committing to 6 months of time and 8 laser treatments from a company that pretends to have comparable laser. Oh yes, the other places were really nice people until your last treatments they can't wait to kick you out the door. I know the treatments were sub par now because my acne scars were not reduced or improved at all. Who cares about great customer service when you still have acne scars. I would rather have results. I came back to these people to get it done from them and yes my acne scars improved with only 4 treatments. You will see for yourself when you go to the other places. Let me warn you that other places are using their name to sell you sub grade services and lasers at even a cheaper price and that is what you are getting; a cheaper laser treatment. If you ask me, I can see for myself that a few negative reviews were written by those other places to fool you and me. By the way, I was not the only one that went here to fix what the other places screwed up. During my visits, I have heard of several people coming from other places complaining about their services from even the places that I have visited. I am not an unusual case. Those other places are just scam. Look, do you go to a DENTIST to FIX YOUR EYES? Then why would you go to anybody else besides a dermatologist to fix your skin? It just makes sense right? For me NOW it does. I didn't think before and I was screwed. So don't get screwed. And if you want laser treatments, you have to go to a place that specializes with lasers. Honestly, the treatments are not that cheap. If you can't afford it right now, then don't go to the free consultation. Even if you want to finance the treatments, you have to know that it is really what you want and ready to make payments every month to pay off your treatments. My credit is good and so I did the financing and I am finally happy with my treatments. So really do your research about these companies. You will see what I am talking about. Good Luck!
