I discovered that I had squirrels in the attic and called Critter Control of North Alabama to remove them. Lance Moore came out promptly and determined that the squirrels had gained access into the attic by gnawing and enlarging previously drilled woodpecker holes in the top wooden panel covering the chimney chase. To remedy the squirrel problem, Lance placed a trap at the entrance of one of the holes, but squirrels did not return to the attic and he removed the trap after a week. Lance and his crew then replaced and painted the large wooden panel on the side of the chimney where the woodpeckers and squirrels had damaged it. While assessing wildlife presence in the attic, Lance also discovered a small area under one of the roof vents where bats had left droppings in a previous year. He and his team removed the affected attic insulation material and sanitized the area. They also installed screens over the vents at the top of the attic so that bats and/or flying squirrels could no longer gain access.
I am completely satisfied with the service Lance provided. He is prompt, thorough, courteous, efficient, and extremely professional. In talking with Lance, I was impressed by his humane approach to relocating nuisance animals, such as raccoons and opossums, that sometimes become a problem here. I highly recommend Lance and Critter Control of North Alabama, without any reservation whatsoever, to anyone who has a problem with wildlife.
