Critter Control

Lance and his 2 helpers were polite and did an awesome job of removing over 60 bats from attic space. A job that took more than 4 or 5 visits, over a period of a couple of weeks. The job was well done, and the price was very affordable. No details were left undone, and I would personally recommend them to anyone. The bats were also removed as humanely as possible, which concerned me because they are an important part of our eco system. more

A trap has been set for two weeks and one critter has been caught. There has been no further damage, so that may be the end of the problem ……… HOPEFULLY! more

Lance was an extremely polite and knowledgeable young man. I'm not sure if the skunk has disappeared yet but Lance did a few things to keep him out. He told me what to watch for. I haven't smelled skunk in a few days so hopefully, it worked. Again he was a wonderful young man. more

I recently had a problem in my attic with a huge bird nest. Lance Moore and Justin of Critter Control did an excellent job in getting rid of this nest and cleaning the attic back to its original condition. They also installed louvre vent screens so the birds will not return. Justin put the screens on and did such a nice job you can't even see them. I had nearly a hundred bats in my attic this past summer. Critter Control got rid of the bats, cleaned up all the guano and pestilence the bats left behind and installed a vastly improved barrier to keep them out. Lance was very timely in his communication & follow up. We got cut off on the phone and he called me right back. When he was running late to my house for our meeting time he called to let me know. Did an assessment of my situation and discussed a fix with me while here. He had his Tech here the same day to install the fix. Very happy & satisfied! I discovered that I had squirrels in the attic and called Critter Control of North Alabama to remove them. Lance Moore came out promptly and determined that the squirrels had gained access into the attic by gnawing and enlarging previously drilled woodpecker holes in the top wooden panel covering the chimney chase. To remedy the squirrel problem, Lance placed a trap at the entrance of one of the holes, but squirrels did not return to the attic and he removed the trap after a week. Lance and his crew then replaced and painted the large wooden panel on the side of the chimney where the woodpeckers and squirrels had damaged it. While assessing wildlife presence in the attic, Lance also discovered a small area under one of the roof vents where bats had left droppings in a previous year. He and his team removed the affected attic insulation material and sanitized the area. They also installed screens over the vents at the top of the attic so that bats and/or flying squirrels could no longer gain access. I am completely satisfied with the service Lance provided. He is prompt, thorough, courteous, efficient, and extremely professional. In talking with Lance, I was impressed by his humane approach to relocating nuisance animals, such as raccoons and opossums, that sometimes become a problem here. I highly recommend Lance and Critter Control of North Alabama, without any reservation whatsoever, to anyone who has a problem with wildlife. more
