ORADELL ANIMAL HOSPITAL - WHERE THEY PREY UPON THE VULNERABILITIES OF PET LOVERS IN CRISIS\r \r Oradell Animal Hospital (OAH) is a ripoff and should be investigated by Consumer Affairs. Their prices are grossly inflated. They charged me $269 for a series of simple blood tests at OAH. The same tests performed on humans at Biogensis Labs cost less than $50. They even had the audacity to charge $133 to check the dogs blood pressure. As a doctor myself, a simple blood pressure evaluation is an integrated aspect of all evaluations and can not be charged separately. They double charged me $341 when they had two echocardiograms performed ($341 each) on the same day and billed by different vets. Double billing will get your license suspended. They asked for a credit card deposit up front but never got my authorization for these procedures. Their vets may be qualified, but their billing practices are unscrupulous at best.
