Our two year old dog had what seemed to be an allergic reaction so we brought him in. We had to leave him there and the ER doc called that evening and said he was doing much better. In the morning- Rather than go with the treatment that seemed to be working, the attending doctor stopped the antibiotic treatment and ran every test imaginable on him. She called us and told us the neurologist said that after the MRI our dog had no brain function and to either put him down or put a shunt in his head but that he'd never function properly. TEN MINUTES LATER she called back saying our dog sat up and barked and we could come see him for a few moments before we decided what to do. \r

Our regular vet told us that the situation sounded insane and to GET THE DOG OUT OF ORADELL IMMEDIATELY and take him to Redbank animal hospital (Even though we live an hour away.) \r
