I had a problem with a leak in my roof into my kitchen with actual water dripping into my kitchen, so I gave the guys over at Mr. Handyman of Huntsville a call. The guy that came out could not figure out where the problem was and how to fix it. He tried to get into my attic space to look at it, but just ended up putting a little silicon on the roof area. All in all for one hour of work they charged me $218 which I thought was crazy but did not say anything. I will not be calling these guys again that is for sure.
RESPONSE FROM Mr. Handyman of Huntsville:
After investigating the scope of work & talking with our technician that completed the service for Mr. Norris I written my response to his rating. Mr. Handyman has been to Mr. Norris home on several occasions to work on the leaking issue. On 4/1/2016 we were scheduled to evaluate a leak issue, we evaluated the problem, Mr. Norris gutters were full on leaves and had caused water to run back into his house, his fascia board & soffit was rotted and we repaired. Mr. Norris called us back out on 8/3/2016 for similar issue. We assessed the problem, gave him an estimate for repairs @ $65.00 & he declined to have the repairs done. Mr. Norris called back and setup service for 12/30/2016 with same issue. The technician discussed the method of repairs and he ask our technician just to caulk for now. We have been out to make the repairs several time, however, Mr. Norris just wants to put Band-Aids on the problem. Don't know much more that Mr. Handyman could've done for Mr. Norris.
