Purchasing an older home, we really wanted to make sure we got the best inspector possible - and we did!
Dan is a human encyclopedia. He has a skill set above and beyond most inspectors due to all the years he spent building before he turned to inspecting. Also, while many inspectors pay a fee and attend a short course to get their "certification", Dan is actually a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors.
He was patient and thorough when explaining things to us, and helped us prioritize the big issues (as well as giving us a few tips for easy fixes for the smaller ones). His wife, Muriel, was so warm and helpful when we called to ask questions. We now feel confident about what we're going into, and it's all thanks to Emerald Inspection.
