Businiess name:  German Formula Auto Repair

Review content:
Just replaced front air springs (dyi) on my '03 Audi allroad and needed to have the allignment done. Found German Formula on city search and decided to give them a try based on the reviews. After my visit I would say that the reviews here seem to be mostly accurate. The office person, Brook, is very nice; they seem to do good work; they serviced my car the same day I called to inquire; and they were done when they said they would be. \r \r I do have a couple of objections though. 1. They sent my car to be serviced be an outside alignment shop without telling me upfront. (I am very uncomfortable with people working on my car unless I know/trust them and can watch. I know this personality trait is not conducive to having a shop do work.but it gets even worse when I can't even see the facility doing the job.) 2. They underestimated their cost of the outsourced work and asked to pass that extra cost on to me. The 4 wheel alignmet was quoted at $80 and they asked me to pay $95 after it was done. However, they were willing to honor the quoted price without any mess or fuss, so I got my car back for the $80 agreed on. 3. The steering wheel is not quite centered when driving a straight line. It is only off by a degree or two; I didn't even notice it until I was halfway home, and it is minor enough that I am not even sure if i will be taking it back to be re-done. I'll give it a couple of days to see if it actually bothers me.\r \r Overall, I think that I will be returning to German Formula for future work that is beyond my dyi skill level. Though I will ask if they will be doing the work or outsourcing it. Like all auto-shops they are a business and there to make a proffit (so trust them as far as you are willing to) but German Formula does not seem like one of ""THOSE"" shops that needs to avoided at all costs. I would recomend them to a friend. Pros: no wait for an appointment, friendly, I would recomend them Cons: just a few small things
