Back in the spring we had our AC serviced and signed up for a maintenance / service program and was told about the Benjamin Franklin Plumbing external drain line protection insurance. Well, we have had issues with tree roots before so I signed up for the policy. A few days ago, our drains were not draining and I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. It was on a Saturday and the friendly receptionist on the phone said she would try to get a plumber out to look at the problem as soon as possible, but being a Saturday, emergencies were were being addressed as first priority. Well, literally within 1/2 hour a mobile service technician called and said he could be at our house in 45 minutes! I was astounded! It turns out that my fears were true and the main drain line outside was clogged with roots. The plumber said he would need to call for a back-hoe to dig up the line and replace it. I thought this would be a multi-day undertaking, but he said it would be done before the end of the day. It only took the crew about 3 hours and everything was back as it was before, but now draining as it shoud.
Thanks you, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for such fast, expert service! And, that service policy? Well it would have cost us thousands if we had not taken out that policy, instead we paid nothing!
