KIRKISH FURNITURE USED TO THE THE NUMBER ONE STORE FOR FURNITURE AND APPLIANCES. BUT SINCE THEY MOVED FROM DOWNTOWN HOUGHTON TO THEIR NEW ADDRESS ON MEMORIAL ROAD IN THE OLD PAMIDA STORE, THEY HAVE BE COME VERY PRICE AND NOT VERY COMPETETIVE. WE HAVE A REX STORE WHICH IS CLOSE BY AND KIRKSHES CANNOT COMPETE WITH THEIR PRICES ON MOST ITEMS. KIRKISHES HAS GOOD QUALITY FURNITURE, BUT YOU ARE PAYING TOP DOLLAR FOR WHAT YOU GET. IT IS VERY VERY HARD TO GET A DEAL. THEY DO CARRY A GOOD VARIETY OF FURNITURE AND APPIANCES BUT THE PRICES ARE WHAT TURN PEOPLE AWAY. THEIR PARKING LOT VERY SELDOME HAS MANY CARS BECAUSE OF THIS. THEY MAKE MOST OF THEIR MONEY FROM LARGE COMPANY ORDERS. JUST NOT A WORKING MAN'S PLACE ANY MORE.
