Worst

I refuse to buy from there after owner did not respond to my carpet installation problem in a satisfactory manner. I would recommend Rowe's in Calumet instead.

Beautiful furniture - great deals 9/28/2008

We just remodeled our living room, dining room and kitchen. We looked around but ended up buying all the furniture and appliances from Kirkish. Their furniture is so beautiful, great quality, and we were charged prices comparable to everywhere we looked, including the internet. We had a problem with one kitchen appliance and Kirkish took it back and refunded our money, no questions asked. \r Kirkish employees are great at customer service and were a huge help in picking the right furniture, color schemes, and decorating. We're lucky to have a store of this quality in our area. more

I Won't Buy From There 12/15/2006

A NICE FURNITURE/APPLIANCE STORE, BUT A BIT PRICEY 7/20/2005

KIRKISH FURNITURE USED TO THE THE NUMBER ONE STORE FOR FURNITURE AND APPLIANCES. BUT SINCE THEY MOVED FROM DOWNTOWN HOUGHTON TO THEIR NEW ADDRESS ON MEMORIAL ROAD IN THE OLD PAMIDA STORE, THEY HAVE BE COME VERY PRICE AND NOT VERY COMPETETIVE. WE HAVE A REX STORE WHICH IS CLOSE BY AND KIRKSHES CANNOT COMPETE WITH THEIR PRICES ON MOST ITEMS. KIRKISHES HAS GOOD QUALITY FURNITURE, BUT YOU ARE PAYING TOP DOLLAR FOR WHAT YOU GET. IT IS VERY VERY HARD TO GET A DEAL. THEY DO CARRY A GOOD VARIETY OF FURNITURE AND APPIANCES BUT THE PRICES ARE WHAT TURN PEOPLE AWAY. THEIR PARKING LOT VERY SELDOME HAS MANY CARS BECAUSE OF THIS. THEY MAKE MOST OF THEIR MONEY FROM LARGE COMPANY ORDERS. JUST NOT A WORKING MAN'S PLACE ANY MORE. more
