Businiess name:  All State Van Lines Relocation, Inc.

Review content:
I used this company to move from Abilene, TX to Buffalo, NY. The sales agent I spoke to sold me something completely different from what I got. I chose this company versus one that was located in town due to the fair weight quote (price reflects actual weight of you items). Apparently, All State uses contractors that they don't seem to vet. I was promised at least 2 movers. When only 1 mover arrived and said he would slide my furniture down the stairs, I immediately called the company. He ended up hiring 2 people from my apartment complex to help. They barely were functional and I ended up helping for about 3 hours so we could get the job done. I was also charged extra upfront on things that had already been discussed. After this, I felt very uncomfortable with this company having my things. On delivery, I found that some items had been water damaged due to the driver continuing to drive after he had ripped a chunk of the roof to the truck off. The helper he had on this end was most likely a drug addict due to his appearance and behavior. The mover also "stole" my hardware to my bed after I asked him if he had left it in at the place I was storing my items until my new place was ready. I ended up going to the weigh station with the mover and found that they had over charged me by over $900. I was promised that a check was in the mail over 1 week ago and still haven't received it. I ended up having to open a dispute with my credit card company. I also asked for an itemized receipt since I feel I was grossly over charged and never received that either after being promised several times it would be sent. Whenever I tried to talk to the sub-contractor, Quality relocation, they were extremely rude and incompetent. I decided to deal solely with All State since they had sold this nightmare to me. The agents kept saying one thing and doing the other. This experience has exhausted me and I can't even write all they did to me. When it came to getting money from me, they were fast and efficient.
