I am picky. Dr. Krieg is my 4th pediatrician, and I drive an hour to see her. It's worth every minute! When my girls get sick, you call and talk right away with a receptionist who will fit you in not just the same day but usually within a few hours--faster and so much better than urgent care!! My sister recommended her when my old doc said my girl was fine and I knew he was wrong. Dr. Krieg sent us to the E.R. (thank goodness because by the time we got there her fever was 106 and they put her on I.V. fluids within minutes!). Dr. Krieg personally called the hospital to make sure they ran certain tests and called us several times to follow up. WOW! And that's not unusual--my other girl had a mysterious fever this week and the Dr. ran sufficient tests to rule out anything serious (most doctors I've had would have sent me home saying it was just a virus, but it potentially could have been much worse.
