I brought my car in for its routine service, but this time I needed tires which I had shipped earlier. I mentioned my A/C wasn't blowing as cold as I thought. and I had questions about my spark plugs as my car is coming up on 70k miles. Servicing and tires were done without issues, but dye was put into my A/C system and I was told the gaps on the plugs were widening which made sense since my gas mileage was beginning to decline. Earnest my service adviser kept me informed of the servicing process and issues every step of the way. I came in on a Saturday which was a VERY busy day. All in all everything but the A/C issue and plugs was handled the same day. It was necessary to let the car run for a few days to locate any leaks in the A/C system and I was told that changing the plugs would be a 5-hour job - one or more of the exhaust manifolds would have to be removed to neccessitate the plug replacement. Since I had come later that day instead of first thing in the morning, more work would have probably been done. With all that said, my car goes back in this weekend to finish installing the new plugs and to see how leaky the A/C system is. Earnest informed me that I would be provided with a courtesy car this time so that I wouldn't be inconvenienced any more than necessary for the day. This was one of the more unique service visits I've had, but still this dealership employs good competent people who care about their customers. I've been a customer at this location since I bought my car nine years ago and I have a good relationship with Earnest and Tom the service advisers. I realize I'm paying more money than I would at another shop, but the peace of mind I have knowing my car is in good hands and running on good parts more than offsets that.
