In response to the "beware of this business" comment. I am the service tech. who worked on the a/c. I did find a leak in the system and started to repair it. I started to pump the refrigerant back into the system in order to make the repair, which is a very common pratice, in doing so we feel the compressor tripped on internal overload and shut it's self off. That situation presents its as a bad compressor. I did fail to remember about the possible internal overload that would reset after it cooled down. I did not add any extra refrigerant to the system, that was to be done after the leak was repaired. If the service tech. from GFC had tested the system before replacing the unit, he might would have found that it was not bad and was ok to use. I did try to go back and check it again the next day but was unable to due to the fact that the home owner had already called this GFC company and they had already replaced it. The home owner was returned his $89 check and was not charged for our
