Review content:
I had a very disappointing experience with Bob s Wheel Alignment, after they came recommended to me by coworkers who liked their shuttle service. I took my Toyota to have the tires checked and was told that I needed new tires (~$175) - plus a totally new front brake job (over $800), for a grand total of $1100! The salesperson even told me it was not safe to drive my car. Luckily my dad knows about cars and thought it was a preposterous estimate, especially because I had my brakes done only 23,000 miles ago. Dear Old Dad said I should get a second opinion from a place that would not use fear tactics to get me to replace my entire brake system. I then took my car to Merchant Tires where they said the brakes were fine - they had 9.86 remaining when the minimum required by law is 2 (mm?). So basically, I spent $285 for tires and alignment, when I could have been taken to the cleaners by Bob s. Beware, and get a second opinion if you take your car there!
