Seriously! I had never been pierced before going to Black Lotus and was incredibly nervous. I went in with my boyfriend of the time and my best friend and both referred to Joes professionalism and intuitiveness to calm me down. They werent lying. Since then Ive gone to him numerous times for numerous things. Sometimes I just go in to check in. Everytime I get pierced anywhere else it gets infected or they do a botch job. Joe never makes you feel bad about a bad piercing and always works with your wants to get you just what you needed. His attitude makes him the perfect piercer, calm and artistic. Id refer my mom to this place too. Its incredibly clean serene and interesting. Its legitimately a place where art goes down and I appreciate that. I dont want an experience that makes me feel like I should have just crawled out of a Chevy Pinto motor... and thats what the other places around town remind me of. Run down and dirty. Black Lotus not only makes you feel like your the only one in the shop but your shopping for something self fulfilling and couture. He is always down to order you custome jewelry even if its at a cost to the shop. His customer service makes me continue going back. Once again Id refer him to my mom my grandmother my boyfriend or even my little cousin.
