In reference to Nill,\r
I guess if you are not a "good 'ol boy" you will get screwed with. I have a very similar story. My girlfriend had her alignment done there, 3 months later she took her vehicle back and they told her she needed an alignment! What the heck? Really? They also tried to sell her on some other stuff that she didn't need. My father was a mechanic and I know exactly how some of these guys work. Their integrity is shakey at best. They do have inexpensive oil changes there, but here is the catch:\r
1. You MUST make an appointment\r
2. You MUST pay cash\r
3. You MUST listen to them while they attempt to BS you into buying a new air filter that was just replaced, "recommend" tune up and a bunch of other crap it does not need.\r
\r
Situation 2: They tried screwing me over on one of my vehicles I wanted them to check out. Long story short - I took it to a mechanic in S. Tampa who came highly recommended and not only did he give me advice as to what I could/should change on my own
