Review content:
My mother has needed virtually all services available at Kensington Park, including both programs in the memory care building. When my mother first arrived two years ago, she was independent and active with a womens group who dedicated much of their lives to volunteer work. She loves music and participated in their live entertainment program. My mother enjoyed the nature bus rides and going out to group luncheons and walking the grounds. They do a lot of activities at Kensington Park and my mother enjoyed being active in all of them. Now that she's wheelchair bound and less able to communicate, she listens to music, watches the birds and enjoys having her small dog in her room. When she broke her hip, she had physical therapy in her room and at the physical therapy facility. The staff is always there for us when we need them and I often visit after 9pm and I'm always welcomed. They offer us to join our loved ones for meals, which are free for visiting family members. The community is lovely and the grounds are well kept and enjoyable to walk around. I've found the support groups by Dr. Anya to be a gift and they help me with my daily visits with my mother.
