I took my 2004 Honda Civic 5-speed to Dave at Prescott Import Car Service to get my clutch replaced/flywheel resurfaced on my mother's recommendation. My estimate was fair, the second lowest out of six different estimates between Prescott and Phoenix. Dave explained what they would do, and let me know that they would only charge to resurface the flywheel if it was actually necessary.
As a female, I have had struggles with being treated respectfully at automotive shops in the past, and at Prescott Import Car Services, I felt no awkwardness, and even had a very friendly and in-depth conversation with Dave about the differences between automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
I was offered (and accepted) a ride to wherever I needed to go, as well as pick up service for when my car was ready. The transport vans are very nice and clean (I can't remember, but I think it might have been a BMW...) and I enjoyed another interesting conversation on the way to my house.
The work on my car was completed in exactly the original estimated time, and the final invoice was explained to me thoroughly, with every charge broken down. The new clutch works great, very smooth and just sensitive enough.
The combination of competent and professional work, and friendly and fair customer service is unrivaled here by any other shop I have ever been to/heard of. I have already recommended Prescott Import Car Service to a friend, and will continue to do business with them, and recommend them to others.
