Joel C. re: buff gym rats (men) found at a gym...so what do you expect people to come to a gym for...to give owners money while staying fat as a country hog by not having a fitness goal? Yes, some do. But never met a woman who did not desire a small sexy waist from her work outs or a guy wanting to be just plain buff. Riverside staff has a problem-staff getting older and fat but then say fitness not about small waist or big muscle. Hello, you're supposedly running a health club. Sounds like "age" and "size" envy to me.
Anyway, the club did have a real rat problem in their daycare last summer. They blamed it on the "mowed field next door." Yeah right, all the rats just ran across the road in the daytime straight to Riverside daycare bypassing other buildings, cars, etc. And a rat was found in that swimming cess "pool" of theirs a while back. Maybe a rat is responsible for the chewing gum spotted in that pool (and recently complained about on Riverside f/b page) ...expect this logic to be put forth by the owners as cause of gum in pool. So put the gym rat problem in perspective. I would rather watch buff, small waist people in a club prancing about displaying the fruits of their labor perhaps inspiring others along their way, rather than paying high club dues to watch real fat rats roaming around in that club, daycare or pool, or find gum in their pool. I just tell people don't go to that Riverside club...
