Review content:
I had Arnold & Sons Plumbing come out to put a sump pump on, and wanted to have a backup put in as well. I had also wanted to put in a completely new system, but they were only prepared to give me half of the system, which was just the pump. They didn't have a reasonably priced battery back-up system. It was around $3,000 and I could probably get one just as efficient for around $300 elsewhere. Also while they were there, I asked them to look at the hot water tank, and they recommended that I replace that, so I had that replaced. I had to call them back, and this is where it get's frustrating, because my battery backup wasn't charging. He said to put in a new battery, so I did it, and it still wasn't charging. They charged me another service fee of $98, when they should have helped me with it in the first place. They also charged me an additional $500 to install a backup system, which if I had put it in myself, would have taken less than an hour for someone even of my inexperience to install. I thought their second pricing was outrageous, especially when it should have been fixed in the first place.
