Review content:
Called Arnold & Sons to look at our back-up sump pump. They had serviced our main and back up pumps about a year ago. Nevertheless, when the power went out on 12/28 our back-up system failed. The wires had been fouled & shorted. We called them back out again this year to assess and repair the back up system... again.
Pros: The repairman was on time and polite.
Cons: The only assessment or advice offered by the repairman was to say that the entire system must be replaced. Then, he said that we must use one of their systems (at a very high $); and then, he said that they did not have any systems available for sale and would not for a good month. Why did he bother coming out and take our money? We told Arnold & Sons when we called & schedule the appointment EXACTLY why we were calling. We were very clear. Why bother to visit if there's nothing that can be done? $90 for a 10 minute, do-nothing call? They should have been ashamed that their work from the previous year had failed! Our mistake for giving them another chance.
