Try asking a question at this store, and you get a monosyllable. I asked about a certain kind of fish I was interested in, and did they have it?
"No," was all I got from him. "Will you be getting any in?" "No," again. No personality whatsoever. I think he's Patty's husband, but not sure. A younger guy was much nicer the next time I went in. He was very helpful. But on the whole, most times I've been in there, I got the "flat affect" guy who didn't even seem to care if they sold anything or not. And I also noticed they are NOT knowledgeable about fish. I asked for a male fish, and got home with it and realized it was a female. So if you are looking for something specific in a fish, you'd better know how to tell what sex it is, because they don't know! The place used to be super clean and odorless. Now it is just as bad as other stinky pet stores I've been in. Very disappointed. I would not buy a bird, kitten or pup from this store no matter what. The reviews are terrifying!
