Review content:
My car was left 11 days ago with a blown head gasket. Estimated repairs for engine, radiator flush, labor: $ 1,800 + machine shop. I live 4 hours away.\r

No work done on the car but after calling several times...now I need a new radiator, water pump, thermostat, and computer in addition to the original repairs. New total: approx $ 3,200 which does not include the machining of the head. \r

Towing to a new mechanic. The car was driving fine...head gasket symptoms led me to have the car diagnosed.\r

Addendum to above. New mechanic charged me $ 186 for new thermostat and cleaned out the radiator. I then drove 4 hours back home. Car is driving fine.
