Shortly after I called United Waterproofing, Ron came to the house to assess my problem and provide an estimate. He was very thorough and professional and provided a detailed explanation of what needed to be done and the United process of solving the problem.
He provided a proposal on the spot which I signed and I was provided with a date for the work. On job day, Jonathan and his crew arrived promptly (8:30 AM - as promised). They set up a barrier so that my finished basement and the rest of the house would be protected from the dust and dirt that naturally results from digging up a concrete floor. They were very efficient and were done by 4:30 PM, as promised. Despite the fact that an entire wall of my basement had pretty much been torn up and put back together again, my basement was remarkably clean after the completion of the job.
So far, no problems with water - although at this point we have not the type of rain that would provide a true test. The work is guaranteed (and United has been around and should be around to back the guarantee) so I am not worried.
I highly recommend United Waterproofing - very professional and the job gets done exactly as it is scoped out in the proposal - no hidden costs and no surprises!
