Review content:
I started going to Pets on Broadway when my dog was about 11 years old. At this point in my dogs life I had been to quite a few other places and was pretty particular. I felt the other vet clinic I had been taking my Emma too was overcharging. Dr. Scolnick immediately pointed out that the other place was giving her way too many unnecessary yearly shots since Emma was now considered a senior. She also helped me reduce the amount of pain medication I had to give Emma for her arthritis by substituting with acupuncture and laser treatments. Because of Dr. Scolnick I was able to give Emma an amazing last 2 years of her life. After 2 years, when Emma was 13, she ended up getting cancer and I had to make the awful decision of putting her down. Everyone at Pets on Broadway, and in particular Dr. Scholnick, were so amazing. She really worked with me to make sure it was the right decision. The staff said I could take as long as I needed and blocked off one of the rooms for me while I waited for my sister to arrive and spend some final time with Emma. It ended up being a very calm and peaceful process. I could never thank Dr. Scolnick enough for everything she did. A year and half later I have decided to get a new puppy and I will definitely be bringing her to Pets on Broadway.
