Wife and I celebrated our 1st year anniversary and stayed at the Emily Morgan.
We called a month ahead to reserve a room with a king bed, jacuzzi, and Alamo view. The woman on the phone kept trying to sell us a room with 2 full sized beds. When we arrived we were booked a room with 2 full sized beds. They apologized for the ""mis-communication"" and discounted us $50 per night. We felt cheated and ended up sleeping in a full sized bed (we have a queen at home) for our anniversary!! There were no bathrobes in the room, we called the front desk and were told there weren't any available!! The hotel has a cozy charm and is near the Rivercenter, riverwalk, and Alamo. For its location, and amenities, the Emily Morgan offers great value, but hit or miss service. Worth a try, but were not going back.
