Paint Creek Country Club in Lake Orion Michigan has a new owner with new banquet manager and is currently updating the interior of the facility. The updates so far are very attractive. The banquet style food is good. They will tell you they are easy to get along with and will help you set up your event. This is pretty much an accurate statement, however beware of what is not said.\r
We made the mistake of trusting they truly cared about our event. Linens placed on the tables were apparently not freshly cleaned, as several tables had linens placed on them that were soiled with food spillage. We requested they be removed. Minutes before the arrival of our guests only 1 linen was changed with others having the tables being turned to hide the filth.\r
Several of our guests informed us that the staff removed their plate of food without even asking if they were finished. No big deal they would just go get more food. Only they quickly discovered the buffet was also removed so they we
