Paint Creek Country Club

Paint Creek Country Club in Lake Orion Michigan has a new owner with new banquet manager and is currently updating the interior of the facility. The updates so far are very attractive. The banquet style food is good. They will tell you they are easy to get along with and will help you set up your event. This is pretty much an accurate statement, however beware of what is not said.\r We made the mistake of trusting they truly cared about our event. Linens placed on the tables were apparently not freshly cleaned, as several tables had linens placed on them that were soiled with food spillage. We requested they be removed. Minutes before the arrival of our guests only 1 linen was changed with others having the tables being turned to hide the filth.\r Several of our guests informed us that the staff removed their plate of food without even asking if they were finished. This is a private club for members and their guests. We joined as social members only so I don't know much about the golf course other than it looks to be in great shape. The clubhouse is very nice and they do weddings, holiday brunches and other occasions. The food is very good. There is also a pool with a hot tub, tennis court and workout facilities. Membership is reasonable as a social member, but the golf membership seems a little high. Food prices are a little high as well. Recommend. more

Casey took very good care of us when we booked the banquet room at Paint Creek Country Club. You do not need to be a member to rent out the facilities and yet, you are treated as if you are. They taste testing prior to confirming an actual menu was out of this world. All in all, we had a great experience here. more

Beautiful 18 hole course. Not a real long course, with some hidden shots. Fairways and greens in excellent condition. Club house is elegant with large dining room, locker rooms on lower level. Pool, tennis courts and fitness center in excellent condition. more
