Shady at best!! I wast informed today by another company who was servicing my furnace that the furnace I purchased in October of 2006 was a previous year model. I was not informed of this by the salesman. I spoke to him today and was told that they would never have old inventory (which they did). Also, based on the difference in manufacturing date and sell date, he confirmed that they made additional margin on the furnace-which was not communicated to me the buyer.
