All drift boat fishing charters are the same along the southeast coast of Florida. ""Drift boat fishing"" means they will drive out off shore a mile or so, cut engines and drift with the currents across reefs and such. Everybody fishes off one side of the boat (or else your line will go under the boat) and at times the boats can be crowded. I took a party of four out on a Wednesday, at 1:30pm, during spring break - not too bad at 34 people. Parking is free and interesting for the second trip of the day because your parking spot is the same as the person that was on the AM trip. Meaning you have to wait for the AM boat to get back and offload the people so you can park in their spots. There are pay lots across the street. In my experience, drift boat fishing is often unsuccessful - maybe 1 in 4 people end up catching something and even less catch something edible. I go for the ""experience"" and the joy of a 4 hour boat ride out the inter-coastal and the chance to land a big fish. The scenery is beautiful with homes, yachts and the Florida landscape. We saw pelicans diving, flying fish jumping and even a sea turtle. I recommend, but don't set your hopes too high!
