Review content:
I had a great experience purchasing a machine, with Dawn. It was a few mins before the store closed and my sewing machine (a gift) was broken so I brought it in, with the intention of having it fixed and renting a machine ($25) for a day. Half hour later I left with a $450 machine, feeling like I would use the machine more, be more comfortable with it and feeling like Dawn really took the time to understand my comfort level w/sewing and my needs. I like that they offer a 6 hour class to learn about your machine (although the next month's class is already full! :( Perhaps they can reduce the 6 hours to 3 and do 2 classes? not sure- but they offer that and some free sewing classes for the year. Also a yearly service of the machine for the next 2 years. I spent more than I wanted to (needed to!)...but I liked how she took the time to show me the machines, how to do some basic things w/ it even though the store was closed. I appreciate that level of customer service. I assume she owns the store, but not sure?
