To the poor sweet lady with the dead 17 yr old cat.My opinion is that your car was already dying and this was dr dees attempt to try to give you a little more time.Sometimes the medical profession does extra knowing that it could be a risk. This is not for their benefit but for the benefit of the family. If it had worked and given you a few more months or weeks you would be thanking him.I hope vets don't stop going the extra mile of hope because of blame from owners of terminal pets who cant see the forest for the trees.im sorry that you couldn't be there to touch and hold your baby but dr dees is not to blame.Look at it as if your loved one was in an emergency code room in a code blue respiratory distress and dr dees choose to continue chest compressions with a flat line and heart shocks knowing there was little chance.I know you are angry and hurt but dr dees should not be blamed for doing everything he knew to do because he cared. Why didn't you just get an autopsy from a different clinic to easy your mind?
