I moved to Rochester about 10 years ago. I bought a little audio/video here, a little there for the first few years living here, no real loyalty or working relationship.
But when I decided to do a complete makeover of systems in my house beginning in 2011, I was looking for some better equipment than the brick & mortar stores carry, and also some occasional technical advice and a chance to check out some demo units at home. That led me away from the B&M stores and straight to the Stereo Shop, and I've been a happy and loyal customer since.
These guys know their stuff, and they carry great brands -- spent quite a bit there in the past year+, but it's worth it every time I turn on a movie or CD or stream to my patio.
