DO NOT go with Action Air in San Marcos, CA. Bob the sales man who came out was very nice and kind but the owner and the customer service is HORRIBLE! I went to Costco to get a quote for a new air conditioner and that is when Bob came out to our house. It all was going great and we setup a date and time for an install and paid the $5000 for a new AC (14 seer 3 ton Lennox) but shortly found out they carry other brands besides Lennox so I asked if I could compare prices. BIG MISTAKE! I spoke with Casey and he said he would look into getting me other prices and call me back the next day. The next day came and I didn't hear from him so I called a day later at 12pm and they said he would call me back, I called again at 2pm (they said he was in a meeting),called at 4pm (has my note and will call me), and when I called at 5pm (right before they closed..... in another meeting) {Thought, wow this guy must be pretty special, he's in a lot of meetings} and the front desk girl said he would call me before he left for the day...... guess what, NO CALL!!!! I then got a text from Bob saying Casey would not be calling me. I called back the following day to talk with Casey and they said he was in a meeting and asked for me to hold, I held on the phone for 20 minutes before I hung up and called back, each time I called back I was put on hold and no one picked up (Another thought... are they messing with me). At this point I'm really frustrated and asked to talk to the owner, Greg Gill. I was put on hold and no one picked up.... (3rd thought.... I give up). Greg finally called me back and was extremely rude and just raved that he has some award from the BBB and has been a businessman for 40 years and did not care that no one was calling me back. (Final thought.... There is no way I'm doing business with Action Air). Ironically I was telling my co-worker about this and she said not to go with them either, she said that she used them and when her heater needed maintenance they did not uphold the warranty and it was like pulling teeth to get someone to come out to take a look at it then charged her $400 for a replacement part that she found online for $50 and did it herself.
