Review content:
Renting a car with National at White Plains/Weschester county airport Feb 17-20 was a pleasure. Staff were super professsional, helpful, and efficient. Car was sparkling clean and included an ice scraper for the winter weather. \r

My experience at the LaGuardia National car rental site a few days later (Feb 23-26) was not good. There were only 2 cars in the standard rental class available in the Emerald aisle. Neither had been cleaned. One was particularly bad, with dog hair and fast food trash in the car. I chose the less-dirty of the 2 choices. It still had some paperwork and a hat left by the previous renter. The gas tank was also not full - slightly over 3/4 tank. There were no onsite staff around to ask other than the attendent in the booth at the exit station. It was late and I was tired so I just took the dirty car rather than hassle with finding another one. Other experiences with National have been good - maybe this was just a bad day.
