I totally agree with all the comments about the front desk staff. They are THE RUDEST people I have ever met. I have been going to Dr. McCarthy for 15 years and I have not one complaint about him or Dr. King who has also seen and treated my animals. I have had 3 dogs and 2 cats spayed with no incidents and I have had 2 animals with chronic health problems. He has always explained my options and never tried to push me into decisions or costly products or services that I didn't need (unlike other vets in the area.) I don't know why the office staff are allowed to treat his customers that way....maybe he is not aware but they definately ruin things for the business he is trying to run.
