We are an AF family who have used vets all over the country for our cats and dogs. We've also lived in this area on 3 separate occasions and used 3 vet practices here. We keep coming back to 4 Paws, and they are the best we've used anywhere. We've gone in for routine things, as well as some very tough to diagnose things that other vets missed. They will let you know if something requires additional expertise, and have sent us to a specialist in St. Louis before, but we still prefer Dr. Jessen and Dr. Jenner. Both are very, very competent; compassionate; will patiently answer questions without defensiveness (did not find this with the specialist) and will research to find you answers -- will consult with others who are expert in a particular niche. You won't go wrong with either. We have not had the young Dr. Bollmeier but were here back in the day when his father was still practicing, and he was excellent also.
