In a nut shell - My garbage disposal needed replaced, not a new install on a new sink. He said $565 to replace the G/D. I thought, OK, suck it up grandma.
Then told me the air gap, another $166.
Then 45 minutes (and yes I watched the time) he said the new G/D didn’t line up with my existing pipes, it was an inch off. Another $166.
There was no written estimate only an IPad with the smallest writing possible, I signed where he told me. I had to call the office the next morning and ask for the receipt.
All the parts were under $300 at Home Depot, so that means $600 for 1hr 45min labor??
How can this be legal? I still can’t believe this happened to me.
