This is by far my favorite Ethiopian restaurant in Seattle. There are many close to this restaurant that are also good, but Café Soleil is excellent. The food isn't served traditional-style, instead subscribing to a more family-style, where the dishes and injera are served separately. The flavor of the dishes has always been exceptional.
Brunch/breakfast on the weekends is also good, and for dinner there are non-Ethiopian items on the menu as well.
The restaurant is also available for special events. We rented out the whole place for a rehearsal dinner, and it was only the price of everyone's meal. No astronomical fee or anything tacked on.
The service has always been good, and the atmosphere is relaxed and has tons of character. I highly recommend this restaurant!
