"THIS IS A REBUTTAL ON THE ONE LEFT BY"NOT A BIG FAN X".\r The car did in fact break down upstate due to a defective part that failed.Th problem was that the repair shop upstate did not follow procedure as AAA requires.They sold her a distributor based on the fact that a screw had fallen out and made its way under the cap and ruined the entire distributor.We told the customer to save the old parts as the repair shop refused to process this under the aaa warranty.The customer did not save the parts and her husband called us demanding money and became verbally abusive to me and my staff.I called the repair shop upstate and asked for the old parts.When they sent ot to me the distributor was actually fine,just the ignition rotor was defective.We realized that the shop upstate had been dishonest and i called the customer who refused to entertain an explanation.Yes,the part(rotor) was defective and would have been warrantied,but the shop did not follow the rules.We started an investigation of
