Businiess name:  Kensington Park Senior Living

Review content:
The caregivers at Kensington Park have really turned everything around for my mother in the best way possible, and I have nothing but positive things to say about them. My mother was diagnosed with dementia in 2008. I had put her in an assisted living facility that said they had dealt with dementia patients all the time, when in reality they did not. My mother was there for a year and a half, and had completely deteriorated. She was not getting proper care and was completely ignored. They ended up throwing her out and put us in a terrible position We did not have much time, which was very stressful. At the recommendation of our social worker, I talked to people at Kensington Park. I could not believe how helpful and kind they were -- not only to my mother, but also to me. She has been with them for six months now, and the improvement has been amazing. She's like a new person. Kensington implements a concept that I thing is brilliant. They try to make sure the residents have as much human contact as possible. They really understand something that a lot of people in the assisted living industry do not understand. They really know how to talk to people with dementia, and I could not be more thankful for that.
