While visiting my sister in FL, I had my cat neutered at the Vet where she works. A few days after I brought him back home to GA, he began to show signs of complications. He was very lethargic, just laying around and not eating and he seemed to be in pain. I call his regular vet and relayed what was going on. I was told "we dont keep any medicines on hand...okay bye." That was it. Disturbed, I called another vet in the area, Houston Lake Animal Hospital, a place I had never been. They told me to bring him right in. Turns out he had an infection and a temp of 106.1! The vet there said at 107 brain damage occurs. They kept my cat for 4 days and treated him with antibiotics until his temp finally dropped. There is no doubt in my mind that he would have died had I not taken him in. No thanks to our own vet who couldnt even be bothered! Oh, and what it cost me to have my cat there for 4 days was less than our vet charged for his first round of shots! They even called me a few days after I
