Wow, what a difference! We've stayed at Shady Acres Campground off and on in past years, but when we last stayed at the newly renamed and revamped Tamarack RV Park in the fall of '07, we were pleasantly surprised. Gone were all the old mobile homes, and in their place we found new pull-throughs with 50 amp service. The bathhouse is newly renovated and clean, and new management has added two large tepees for rent, as well as a charming bunkhouse decorated in a western theme for vacation rental. Rates are still reasonable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
