Short version of this review is 5 stars to technician Phillip who had my air working again in no time! And the long version.... Having air conditioning is one of those things we take for granted until you walk into your house and are hit with a 95 degree wall of heat! After dealing with no air for one night I called Hixon the next morning to set up an appointment. While they couldn't give me a time frame I mentioned that I could not take the day off work but if they could call me 20 minutes before the technician was at the house I would meet them there. They said that would be no problem - and it wasn't. Phillip called me 20 minutes away. Most companies these days act like they are doing you a favor by giving you a four hour window of time on when they will be there, so for Hixon and their employees to do this is a major plus in my book. At any rate Phillip had things working in no time at all, double checked everything and waited around a bit to make sure things were cooling properly before he left. Again, top notch service all the way around which is why Hixon will continue to be the only air/heating company phone number on my list and the only folks I recommend.
